In accordance with Organic Law 15/1999 of the 13th of December regarding the Protection of Personal Data (LOPD), the Council of Tenerife informs you that your personal information will be held by us and stored in our files in order to enable us to deal with your request, complaint or proposal in an appropriate manner, as well as to offer you improved services. Personal information is collected from forms containing the specific information required by Article 5.1 of the LOPD for each file. Only information from the fields essential to the provision of the service requested by the user shall be collected.

Personal data shall be processed with adequate protection, in accordance with Article 8 of Royal Decree 1720/2007 of the 21st of December. Security measures set forth in Title VIII shall be in place to offer the level of protection necessary to prevent unauthorised alteration, loss, use and access by third parties who may use them for purposes other than those requested by the user.

Collection of statistical data

This website does not store or collect visitor data.

The Council of Tenerife does, however, analyse the number of pages used, the number of visits, as well as visitor activity and frequency of visits purely to offer you improved services and to facilitate the use of the website.

Statistical data is collected by the Council of Tenerife's Internet Service Provider.

The Council of Tenerife uses data on connections and most-visited sections to analyse frequency of use of the website.

The Council of Tenerife does not use cookies to collect information on users from its website but does register IP addresses.
